Pomodoros Greek Italian in Asheville

Food was good, service was decent. Didn't seem real busy, think covid killing the business. Would be a nice place to sit at the bar if it was allowed.

Ambiance is good, has a friendly staff. They have options for smaller meal portions which I find to be really great. Food is good. Their freshly baked bread is must try. They have lot of vegetarian options too.

Tiny portions for extremely high prices. The meatball sandwich did not taste homemade, the fries didn't taste fresh, and we only got a few raviolis. Very disappointing as money is tight right now and thought we would splurge on something special while supporting local restaurants. $26 for a few bites of food, not worth it.

Pomodoros is a Greek and Italian cafe. The food is seriously medicore....at least on the day we visited. We had lasagna and chicken alfredo. It was bland and uninspired. The salad was...meh. I could taste "refrigerator" on the lettuce... Unappetizing. There was one great point....I will give kudos to the staff. They were really good and very attentive. Very friendly and helpful. Just not my cup of tea for food.

Outstanding. Tommy, the owner, is always there helping and overseeing the flow. Great place to go and eat.

We had a work event and it was delicious and quiet. Service was excellent.

Picked up pizza (during the distancing) It’s now our favorite neighborhood pizza!!! Service was also quite friendly and professional.

The food is fabulous as always. Each dish was distinctive and delicious. Their gluten free options are plentiful and tasty. Service is quick, responsive, and friendly. I will definitely come again!

Good food, service was quick (you order at a windows, they give you a number and they bring it to your table) we asked for extra sauce and they brought us a assortment. Good beer selections although they were regrettably out of the only local cider.

The food was good not great. Hardly any Greek options. Also was rushed by our waitress to get our order in and eventually leave even though there was no wait on a Friday night at 7 pm and half the restaurant wasnt even being used.

I often take my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the food there is fantastic and the team is efficient and cooperative. Whenever we visit this place we pass a lovely time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

Great food, great service, reasonable prices

Admittedly, I do not eat lunch or dinner here. I actually prefer Tunnel for grub. What I can say is that this joint has the best Tiramisu in Asheville. Better than the one served at the Tunnel Road location. This is house made, always the right mascarpone-to-ladyfinger ratio, and dusted to perfection. The slices are liberal and the cost is conservative. I make the trip from almost 20 miles away for this dessert. It's that good. I only wish they were open a tad later. 11pm on weekends is typical for most of the other restaurants in nearby Biltmore Park.

Nice place all around! They are there to help with everything from getting the right food off the menu. To making sure you enjoy your food! We love this place!

Wait staff was very attentive as always. The menu is so full of excellent options, it's hard to choose. Tonight the saganaki, calamari and lamb chops with risotto were incredible.

Pasta is quite good (coming from an Italian who is picky about Italian restaurants in Los Angeles and NYC). Balance to the menu is very nice and a smart wine selection makes variety in pairings abound.We just tried the brunch for the first time ever on Sunday 10.27.19. Great variety for brunch.Enjoy lunch, dinner or brunch!

Absolutely the best restaurant and dining experience I have ever experienced in this area. You will not be disappointed in the atmosphere or food.

Very good food. Was there with another couple, and we all tried something different.Everyone considered their choice quite tasty.Although it shares the name with Pomodoro's on tunnel road, it is a different owner with much better food, in my opinion.Try their bread pudding for desert!

Thought I’d try this location. It was not bad but I like East location better. Their terrace area has rust on the chairs. Not good if you have light colors on. I was wearing jeans so I was fine. They charge for bread.

Very dissappointing Brunch. Hadn't been here in a while. Ordered Southern breakfast. Compared to the past, portions were small, bacon was tough like leather, teaspoon of sausage gravy on biscuit (used to fill the plate), put my eggs on top of potatoes to try and heat them up. No taste to the gravy. Best part was Chris our server. Always there to refill drinks, but he didn't ask how the meal was because he probably knew it sucked. Manager never came around to inquire about meal and they used to. One was walking around but never stopped. Too expensive for quality and quantity received. Won't be back. Such a shame, it used to be great.

Cannot say a bad thing about this restaurant. Food was super but we had amazing service too. Lydia took care of us- keeping our drinks full and wants fulfilled. Definitely will be back!

The hostess needs to wear a uniform not pants hanging down and sloppy looking. Food way over priced and way over cooked my fish. Our waiter was really nice and gave very good service. The place could use a good cleaning. Wish I could get my money back. The food looked really good but tasted really bad.
